When you got home, you grabbed Lorenzo's arm and ran to your room. You ran past your mother, but she saw the tears running down your cheeks. Once you and Lorenzo were in your room, you slammed the door shut. All of the thing is your room shook, then stopped.
“_______, what happened? Was it that guy by the car? What did he do?” Lorenzo asked and your mother came running into the room again.
“Sort of, (gnyh) called me this morning at about 3 and told me to stay away form Ludwig, that's the guy's name, but I have every single one of my classes with him and he kept trying to talk to me,” you said, wiping your tears away.
“Well did you talk to him?” your mother asked.
“ I was getting into my car when he came up and started talking to me and of course (gnyh) saw me and started running at me. Ludwig turned around and she pretended to be running to him I got in the car with Lorenzo and drove off. I looked into my mirror and I saw them kiss,” you told her.
Your mother kissed your head and rubbed your back.
“_______, well, I just, I don't know what to tell you. I know we were both hoping he was the one. I'm sorry.
You spent the rest of the day stress shopping with Lorenzo. He dragged you to all of his favorite stores. He was a fan of the tight shirts and skinny jeans. He ended up buying a pink shirt and yellow skinny jeans and you knew that he would wear it the very next day to school. Then you drove him to your favorite store, Steamworks. There you bought some watch parts, bronze gauntlet parts, and the latest steampunk novel, Clockwork Hearts. You were close friends with the owners of the store, which gave you a 40% discount on your entire purchase. You dragged and awestruck Lorenzo out of the store and drove him home. You got home at 8:45pm, ate some dinner, and went to bed.
You woke up to your alarm, but before you could turn it off, it turned off by itself. Your eyes snapped open to see your mother hovering over your bed.
“I don't want you to go to school today. You need some time off. Work on your gauntlet or or watch TV or something. Just don't go to school,” she smiled.
You smiled tiredly back and she turned and walked out.. you took out your phone and texted Lorenzo that you were taking a day off. He texted back asking to see what you build today. You got up, shook little Lukas awake and began working on your gauntlet.
~Lorenzo POV~
You went through your school day rocking your new outfit. You were about to start walking home when you were approached by Ludwig. You stopped and took defensive position for _______'s sake. He stopped and nervously rubbed the back of his neck.
“What do you want?” you asked harshly.
“Y-You're one of _______'s friends, right?” he asked.
“Yeah, why do you want to know? You already have a girlfriend. Move along.”
“She isn't mein girlfriend. I zink zat's vat she told _______ und everyzing just vent crazy. Bitte, I am begging you, help me explain zis or at least take me too her,” he bagged.
You thought for a moment.
“Ok, I will help you, but if I find out you were lying about anything so help me. It might not look like _______ has a lot of friends, but there a lot of out-of-sight people that would move the sun for her. Also, I don't have a car,” you said.
“Neizer do I.”
“Ok, I'll just call my boyfriend and he fan pick us up and take us to her.”
“Ok, zat should be-vait, vas? Boyfriend? Are you...?”
“Yes, I'm gay. Took you long bough to figure out,” you said and called your boyfriend.
In a matter of minutes your boyfriend pulled into the parking lot. You got in the passenger's seat and Ludwig took the back seat.
“Ludwig, this is Tory, Tori, this is Ludwig,” you introduced the two.
“Hallo,” Ludwig said, taking Tory's outstretched hand.
Tori nodded and concentrated on driving the 3 of you to _______'s house.
